Program Support Specialist- Full Time
Are you a people person interested in building a career while making a difference for nonprofits serving our community? Join the team at 501 Commons as a Program Support Specialist to help our management consulting team provide excellent, knowledgeable service that achieves results for our nonprofit clients.
This position will fit a customer focused, well-organized professional who thrives in a dynamic environment of multiple priorities. As a member of the management consulting team, you will focus on maintaining smooth program operations and contributing to the overall efficiency, quality, and capability of our programs and services. Since you will be responding to diverse staff and nonprofit clients with urgent needs and various levels of capacity, your listening and communication skills must be well developed. You will be called on to show initiative, persistence, and commitment to your team.
Human Resources Consultant- Full Time
The Human Resources Consultant is responsible for providing strategic, consultative, and collaborative human resources services to 501 Commons’ nonprofit clients. Your work will primarily include providing HR consulting services, developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients of our subscription services and some short term projects. Most clients are in King County but we are interested in applications from people in neighboring counties who are willing to regularly travel in the Puget Sound area. While many services are delivered virtually through conference calls and email, you will be visiting client offices for meetings and trainings.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with multiple clients, likes the challenge of understanding organizational cultures, customize solutions to best fit the client needs and wants to help nonprofits be more successful. You will draw on many areas of HR expertise and have access to support and advice from the other consultants on the Human Resources Program team.
Use your IT Infrastructure expertise as an IT Consultant helping nonprofits harness the power of technology to expand the reach and impact of their services. Perform tier 2 and scheduled support visits to assess and stabilize nonprofits’ networked computer environments. Provide advice, coaching and recommendations to improve your clients’ technology infrastructure.
You will join a team of consultants, help-desk personnel, and other technical staff. Services are provided to Puget Sound clients during business hours. No call schedule is required.
In this position you will use your technical knowledge, initiative, and communications skills in a team environment, leading to high satisfaction with the work and positive results for your nonprofit clients and the communities they serve.
Financial Services Associate
Financial Services Associates collaborate with nonprofit organizations to complete accounting functions and consult about best practices that will support them in meeting their missions. This is a customer-focused role, so a passion for working with people is essential. It is also important to be able to carry a big-picture perspective regarding client organizations and their needs while providing the detailed and accurate picture of their financial situation.
Windows Server Engineer
The Windows Engineer is responsible for 501 Commons’ nonprofit clients achieving stable technology environments. Since you will be responding to diverse nonprofit clients with urgent needs and various levels of technical understanding, your listening and communication skills must be well developed. You will be called on to show initiative, persistence and commitment to your team.
