Brian Beaumont brings broad management experience to 501 Commons in the nonprofit and for-profit fields. He has served as Director of Business for Seattle Social Services of The Salvation Army, one of Seattle’s largest agencies serving the homeless without discrimination. He has a passion for serving the poor and disenfranchised. He has also been Technology Director and Executive Committee member of Experience Music Project (now MoPop), a 501c3 founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
Brian has a long executive career in Seattle, including Director of Finance for Williams Kastner, Firmwide Director of Budgeting & Strategic Financial Planning for K&L Gates, and Executive Director of Touch Worldwide, an award-winning creative communications agency. Having also worked for a financial software firm as a project manager and profitability consultant, Brian has expertise in leveraging financial software and systems. He earned his MBA from Pepperdine University.
Brian is an ordained leader at Bethany Presbyterian Church on Queen Anne Hill, has served on the Board of Directors of Queen Anne Little League and is an Executive Officer with Scouting America, formerly Boys Scouts of America. As an Eagle Scout, Brian likes to “Be Prepared.”
