Traci Ikegami

Administrative Manager

Traci (she/her) has been a lifelong resident of Seattle, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Initial Teacher Certification from the University of Washington. She has worked in the public education sector for more than 20 years. Starting as a 4th grade classroom teacher, Traci has served in various roles such as Office Assistant and Admissions Specialist at the University of Washington Bothell, Credentials Evaluator at Bellevue College, and finally as an Administrative Secretary in the Counseling Office at Garfield High School (with the Seattle Public Schools). She’s taught, advised prospective and current students, evaluated numerous transcripts for admissions and graduation purposes, helped with admission cycles and graduation ceremonies, and everything in between. Her passion has been to serve students and their families and to keep a well-ordered, organized office while doing so.

Through her various roles in public education, she has worked with nonprofits and has seen their direct impact in improving and enriching the lives of Seattle area youth and families.

Traci enjoys spending her free time gardening, doing puzzles, and playing Wordle.

Fun Fact: While working for the University of Washington Bothell, she worked at its initial campus, which was located in an office complex. She attended the groundbreaking event of its current location.
