HR Program Manager

Danielle Lyda is the HR Programs Manager at 501 Commons. The HR business line supports organizations both in the Pacific Northwest and nationwide with their nonprofit human resource needs. A strategic thought partner and leader in the industry, Danielle guides organizations and her staff through complicated operational and organizational matters with local, state, and federal compliance; compensation; executive recruitment; investigations; training and development; organizational development; and design.

With deep knowledge of FMLA, PFML, ADA, EEOC, the State of Washington Salary Schedule, performance management systems, coaching, and climate surveys, Danielle is poised to thoughtfully engage with 501 Commons' nonprofit partners.

Danielle is a previous managing partner for a private PEO (Professional Employer Organization) with 25 years of experience as an industry leader, HR Director, Business Owner, and Nonprofit Advisor. Danielle completed her undergraduate degree at Idaho State University and is currently pursuing her MBA.
Fun Fact: In her free time, she serves on multiple boards and is a founding member of AJL60, a nonprofit organization that provides mental health education resource for young adults. Danielle and her husband have four children who work and play internationally. They enjoy skiing, water sports, and hiking through North America and the European countryside.
