Efrat fills a dual role - both as 501 Commons’ internal human resources generalist and as HR consultant who partners with 501 Commons’ clients to work on their human resources needs. Efrat started her relationship with 501 Commons as a service corps member on our volunteer engagement projects: VIP 360 and VMC. She fell in love with the organization and its mission, and is now extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to become part of its staff.
Originally from Israel, Efrat brings with her 10 years of human resources experience in various capacities: recruitment, employee relations, training and organizational development. She worked in diverse organizations, including tech companies and a government agency. She holds an MBA with emphasis on organizational development from Haifa University, Israel, and a nonprofit management certificate from the University of Washington. In addition to her volunteer experience with 501 Commons, Efrat volunteers as a group leader with PEPS, the Program for Early Parenting Support, where she facilitates support groups for new families. She lives on the Eastside, and is the proud (albeit exhausted) mother of two girls and a boy, who are completely bi-lingual and bi-cultural.
Fun fact: Efrat is an avid player of online word and trivia games. You are welcome to challenge her!
