Heather Bobbett, a Washington resident for more than 30 years, graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Sociology and a focus on the Environment & Technology. She began her professional career as a counselor for at-risk youth and eventually transitioned to Human Resources. She has worked as an HR professional for more than 20 years with a majority of her career in the healthcare industry. Most recently, Heather was the HR Director for a social services organization that provides specialized care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Heather has proven success in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all Human Resource functions; including full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration such as contract negotiation, staff development, handbook and policy development, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance. In addition, she holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications and remains current about perpetually changing employment laws through continued education.
Heather strongly believes that creating meaningful connections with each client is the key to a successful partnership. She also believes in consistent and transparent communication to ensure fair and equitable relationships.
Along with her compassion for children and adults with special healthcare needs, Heather has always been a defender of the environment. She was active in environmental clubs in high school and college, getting her first job canvassing for Greenpeace in Boston, MA and volunteering with the Mid-Ohio Valley Greens and People for Puget Sound.
Fun Fact: In her free time, Heather enjoys the outdoors with her husband, two teenage boys, and giant rescue dog!
