As the HR & Learning Programs Associate, Kendra helps manage 501 Commons' training events, as well as provide administrative support to the Human Resources program.
From a young age, animation and art have been a huge focus in Kendra’s life. After studying and graduating from both the University of Washington and the Art Institute of Seattle, Kendra thought she was well on her way to becoming an animator and graphic artist.
However, this changed slightly in 2004 when she was introduced to the Seattle Jaycees (a.k.a. Seattle Junior Chamber). This nonprofit organization provides development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change in their communities. This organization has allowed her to become a civic leader, develop professional skills, and make connections locally, nationally, and internationally.
Kendra graduated from Seattle University’s Masters of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership (MFA) program in June 2017.
Fun Fact: She eats, sleeps, and breathes animation and art. When she is not doing this, you can find her hiking, fishing, reading, and visiting with friends and family.
