Catherine Youmans Robertson has been an accountant since 2019 and has been heavily involved with nonprofits since 2021. Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, Catherine attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a degree in accounting and a minor in data analytics. After running her own accounting firm for a few years, she switched gears and joined the Walton Arts Center, a nonprofit theater that brought plays, musicals, and musical artists to the Northwest Arkansas area. It was here that she found her love for the nonprofit sector. Additionally, she sat on the Walton Arts Center’s Sustainability Committee and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee.
Catherine joined The Equality Crew as their Executive Board Treasurer in 2021 and became the Finance Committee Chair in 2023. The Equality Crew is a local nonprofit that focuses on creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth (K-12) in Arkansas and is very active in LGBTQ+ activism within the state of Arkansas. Catherine is very passionate about the political climate within Arkansas and about empowering nonprofits to do their best work to create meaningful change.
Fun Fact: Catherine is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. She’s been playing since 2018 and runs game for kids through The Equality Crew.
