Grace Harvey grew up in the Seattle area and now lives in Capitol Hill with their partners and three cats. They earned a degree in Accounting from Seattle University and have worked in accounting and finance since 2007, bringing years of expertise to their professional endeavors.

Grace is physically disabled and autistic, and like many people with disabilities, they have taken on advocacy efforts by necessity, as well as choice. These experiences give Grace a distinctive and valuable perspective on equity and inclusion. They understand that issues of disability and neurodivergence are complex—balancing independence and interdependence, prioritizing access over language, dignity over infantilization, and embracing different types of brains rather than moralizing differences.

Their lived experience and community profoundly shape their approach to work in every realm, from accounting to activism.
