Tammy Baughman brings 40+ years of diversified accounting experience to 501 Commons’ Financial Services team.
Tammy grew up in a small Eastern Washington farm town and received her Associates Degree from Columbia Basin Community College with a special emphasis on Business and Finance. Throughout the duration of her career, Tammy has held several accounting-related jobs in various industries ranging from CFO to Full Charge Bookkeeper. Tammy’s first experience in nonprofit accounting was with the Salvation Army’s district headquarters in Seattle. While there, she enjoyed working with her assigned portfolio of offices and assisting with all of their financial needs.
Tammy has also been affiliated with Boy Scouts of America for 28 years. She started a Cub Scout Pack at her oldest son's elementary school when he was seven years old and still hasn’t stopped. Over the years she has held both paid and non-paid positions serving as a Pack Master, Business Manager, Camp Chef, Trading Post Manager, and Camp Master. When she has free time, she can be found at the Cascade Scout Reservation outside Snohomish, where she happily assists in whatever capacity is deemed necessary.
Fun Fact: Tammy was the 1979 Washington State Rodeo Association Queen after serving one year as the Adams County Fair and Rodeo Queen. She loves the outdoors and rides horses at every opportunity.
