Bryan Lam

IT Infrastructure Consultant (Project Delivery)

Bryan is part of the 501 Commons' IT Team as an IT Infrastructure Consultant (Project Delivery), working with clients to help them solve their technology problems.

Bryan grew up in Shoreline, WA and received a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington and a M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University. He developed a passion for nonprofit work and helping people when he served as an intern for a natural disaster preparedness organization, developed a study abroad program for students to learn about environmental peacebuilding in Seoul and Hiroshima, and conducted research in Minamisanriku, Japan with regards to the recovery efforts from the tsunami that hit the town in 2013.

In his free time, Bryan loves to play games of all kind; including video games, board games, and sports. He has spent more than half of his life playing competitive badminton. Bryan taught the sport to kids before coming to 501 Commons.

Fun Fact: Bryan’s badminton hobby started from humble beginnings when he, as a right-handed player, could only serve with his left before switching hands for the first month of playing.
