Janyl has worked in the higher education field for more than 10 years before transitioning to Salesforce. She was introduced to Salesforce in 2018 when she was working as a Student Adviser at the University of California, Berkeley. Salesforce captivated her with all its capabilities that made her work more efficient. Janyl started learning modules on Trailhead and soon became a Certified Salesforce Administrator. After moving to Texas, she transitioned to a career of a Salesforce Administrator.
She was drawn to the nonprofit sector because she believes in its mission to make a positive impact in the community. She has knowledge and experience in using Salesforce to optimize work processes that can support nonprofits in reaching their missions and goals. When working with clients and colleagues, Janyl focuses on collaboration, analysis, and teamwork.
Born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, a small country in the heart of Central Asia, she first visited U.S. as an exchange student at the age of 15 and spent one academic year in Omaha, NE. Then she came back as a Fulbright scholar to pursue a Master’s degree in Higher Education at California State University, Fullerton. In addition to English and her native language Kyrgyz, Janyl also speaks Russian.
Janyl lives in the suburbs of Dallas, TX with her husband and two children and enjoys outdoor activities with their family.
Fun Fact: Janyl volunteered for a nonprofit called “Congress of Women of Kyrgyz Republic” during her undergraduate years and remains passionate about women’s rights and empowerment.
