Megan Moorehead

Salesforce Administrator & Program Coordinator

As Salesforce Administrator & Program Coordinator, Megan Moorehead manages 501 Commons' internal Salesforce database and provides Salesforce consulting to nonprofits, in addition to supporting the Technology Volunteering Program. While maintaining Salesforce functions, documenting processes and providing trainings and consulting, she also coordinates Plan IT, 501 Talks Tech and technology-related projects. She joined 501 Commons in September 2015, originally providing administrative and programmatic support for Management Consulting, Human Resources and Technology services.

Megan has grown up in the Greater Seattle Area and has no plans to abandon the spectacular Pacific Northwest anytime soon. She studied at Western Washington University in Bellingham, focusing on Literature and Writing Studies, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s Degree in late 2014. One of her most memorable jobs involved her participation in a short four-month program at Walt Disney World in Florida, driving a boat and spieling puns as a Jungle Cruise Skipper. Making the leap to the nonprofit sector combines her administrative and technology skills with her desire to connect with people, to empower people to better understand technology, and to foster goodwill in the community.

Beyond the professional realm, Megan enjoys photography, lots of games (board games, card games, video games, you name it), and verbal sparring with her family. Additionally, she completed Community Emergency Response Team training in an effort to take part in disaster aid and preparedness.

Fun Fact: Megan is slightly double-jointed and has an identical twin sister.
