Posted Apr 04, 2017 08:50 AM
Self-care, equity, and navigating through tumultuous times are themes that will be explored at the 2017 Washington State Nonprofit Conference.

Gather with 700+ nonprofit staff and board members on Wednesday, May 17 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue for this much anticipated annual conference. You will learn from experienced nonprofit leaders through stories from the field, from each other, and from outstanding speakers and practitioners.

These gatherings allow you to catch your breath, reflect on your important work, and come away fired up!

Do you want to:

  • Champion a more equitable and inclusive community?
  • Care for the health of your mind and body?
  • Find out how you can use “networked leadership” in facing today’s challenges?
  • Encourage your board and staff to advocate so that public policy supports your mission?
Consider registering for the Pre-Conference workshops on May 16, which include Risk Management (presented by The Non Profit Insurance Program), Nonprofit CFO Annual Update (for finance professionals), and Inclusive Leadership Through Gracious Space (presented by The Center for Ethical Leadership).

The keynote speaker is Colleen Echohawk, executive director of Chief Seattle Club. She is a passionate advocate for the homeless and for the Native American community.

Also engage in “Table Talks” chats with peers, meet with 50+ exhibitors, and get answers to pressing questions at the Nonprofit Q&A Center (hosted by 501 Commons). We look forward to seeing you there!
