Get paired with two tech-savvy consultants who will work with you to assess your usage of technology, identify key issues, and craft a plan to address those issues. Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra participated in Plan IT last year and had glowing things to say:
“The cost of the program – both in terms of time and financial resources – is a great value, especially for smaller organizations that don’t have a robust IT support staff,” says Bryan Lindeman, SYSO’s Data & Operations Manager.
“The road to complete organizational IT functionality is never-ending. Plan IT breaks down your issues and works with you to lay out a path to correct them,” he says.
After completing the program, SYSO got started with their tech plan right away by migrating to a cloud-based server and making plans to transition to Salesforce. Bryan says his team appreciates the know-how provided by their consultants.
“We were looking for guidance on many technology issues and didn’t know where to start,” Bryan recalls. “It was important to recognize our weaknesses and tap the expertise of the 501 Commons volunteers who knew what they were doing.”
Plan IT launches in March 2018 and runs through July. Applications close in early February. Contact Jim Pullen at jim@501commons.orgto see if Plan IT would be a good fit.
