Be Inspired at the 2017 Inland Northwest Conference

If you are in central or eastern Washington take advantage of the Inland Northwest Conference for the Greater Good. Hosted by Washington Nonprofits, this conference allows you to step back from the fray and reflect upon your progress, connect with like-minded peers, and discover new ways to increase your impact.

As someone who works hard every day to carry out your organization's mission, it can be difficult to remember a time when you were able to breathe and recharge your batteries. This annual conference is your opportunity to do just that.

Learn and recharge your passion through a lineup of workshops that includes:

  • Effective Online Donation Strategies
  • Volunteer Recruitment and Retention
  • How to Increase Equity and Diversity in Your Organization
  • Lift Your Voice: Nonprofit Advocacy
  • Recognizing and Managing Bias

The keynote speakers are Jane Wei-Skillern, PhD and Marty Kooistra. They will talk about “The New Network Leader,” which is someone who can grow the impact of their organization by cultivating stronger networks within their communities. It is based on Dr. Wei-Skillern’s groundbreaking 2008 article in the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Marty Kooistra is the executive director of the Housing and Development Consortium of Seattle-King County and will speak on practical ways you can become a more “networked nonprofit.”
