This session provides an overview of the board’s role and responsibilities, practices that streamline board governance, and strategies for building a diverse and engaged board. In addition, the session provides an overview of approaches that ensure the board and the executive work together effectively.

Fundamentals of Fundraising

Want to raise more money for your mission? This introductory session will provide board members, staff new to development work, and volunteers with all the fundamentals of garnering charitable support for their nonprofit. This workshop will cover the basics of funding sources, methods of fundraising, and the solicitation process.
