Thirteen organizations are better prepared to achieve their fundraising goals, thanks to participation in 501 Commons’ Catalyst program. “Not only were we inspired to dream bigger by our consultants, but we were given the tools to accomplish those dreams,” said Sue Skillen, executive director of the Monroe Public Schools Foundation. “Getting to participate was invaluable for our foundation, and we know the students and staff in our district will benefit greatly.”
Thirteen organizations are now better prepared for fundraising success with their completion this month of 501 Commons’ Catalyst program.
The 8-month cohort program helps a nonprofit organization fulfill its mission by improving internal fundraising systems and by aligning the board and staff around fundraising goals.
Catalyst is made possible with generous funding from the Greater Everett Community Foundation (GECF), United Way of Snohomish County and the Boeing Company. “Funders lament that nonprofits are not sustainable but these partners invested in helping organizations diversify revenues and raise more money,” said Nancy Long, 501 Commons Executive Director.
