In “HR Essentials for the Accidental HR Manager” you will learn about common HR mistakes, how to handle the “life cycle” of an employee (hiring, onboarding, evaluating, and separation), key state and federal employment laws, practices that build an inclusive and diverse workplace, critical policies and employee handbooks.The Deep-Dives run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can register for only for the preconference sessions, but you’ll save $25 on each workshop if you also register for the main conference the next day.
