And for more information, join us January 31, 1:45-2:45 pm at the 2100 Building for the HandsOn Tech Team's brown bag. Register here. Want to give your organization a social media presence but not sure where to begin? Or have you already started but not sure how to fully utilize its function? This brown bag provides an overview of common social media tools and how they can tell your organization’s story to strengthen the engagement of your supporters to the community.
The HandsOn Tech Team at 501 Commons will discuss the importance of social media and how popular tools: Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube can drive online communication to offline action. Participants will learn the functionality of each social network in order to identify which tool can best support their online communication goals. With these knowledges set, members will then be informed how they can share information effectively and confidently.
