501 Commons has partnered with PhishingBox to provide a robust cybersecurity awareness training program customized to nonprofits at a discount of about 25% off the list price. Our nonprofit-based technology team will get you set up and ensure that the phishing test emails reflect your risks and environment.
Phishing scams are getting more clever and difficult to detect. PhishingBox sends your staff members simulated scam emails on a random basis. People will get different content based on how they respond to the simulations. The goal is to see how well folks can identify a phishing email. If someone “falls” for the scam email and clicks a link or download button, that person will receive a notification that they “failed” the phishing test and be assigned mandatory short and engaging training videos.
If you don’t think a cybersecurity breach could happen to you, think again! Most cybersecurity assaults are the result of staff members opening the door for cybercriminals. We recently had a nonprofit partner whose accounting staff fell for a scam and wired $10,000 to an overseas bank. To make matters worse, the staff member had recently taken a security training course and still missed the red flags! This highlights the importance of ongoing training.
PhishingBox is a low-cost way to help staff avoid making a costly mistake.
