The Staff Development Coalition consists of a group of nonprofits that work together to select topics presented by national and regional expert trainers. Previous sessions touched on subjects such as conflict resolution, staff retention, diversity and inclusion, empathy and emotional intelligence, leadership skills, communication techniques, and handling difficult conversations. As nonprofit staff teams grow more diverse, complex, and geographically spread out, it’s going to be essential that you build these skills into your everyday practice.

Mark your calendars!

At least until this fall, all SDC workshops will remain virtual and last 1.5 hours – which is shorter than the usual 3-6 hours. This means that you’re sure to get a thought-provoking experience that packs a punch.
