501 Commons was nominated by Serve Washington, our state community service commission. This award acknowledges and honors the outstanding efforts of programs that promote volunteerism and community service.

This is not the first time 501 Commons has received national recognition from ASC. Last year, our Prepare/Respond/Serve program (PRS) was recognized in the 2014 edition of Transforming Communities through Service: A Collection of the Most Innovative AmeriCorps State and Volunteer Generation Fund Programs in the United States.
501 Commons is part of the Executive Service Corps United States, which includes 26 organizations using the Executive Service Corps model to build strong and effective nonprofit organizations.
