Techtacular: “Tweets, Beats, and Haiku”
Tuesday, April 22
5:30 – 8:30 pm
Bellevue Arts Museum
Think beatniks, black berets, and bongo drums of the past, combined with inspiring stories told in Twitter, beat poetry and haiku form about how today’s nonprofits are living their missions propelled by technology.
Techtacular brings together some of the most talented people in technology and nonprofit leadership in the Northwest. With outstanding food, complimentary drinks, and entertainment, Techtacular is a light, fun way to raise funds for 501 Commons and the nonprofit-focused tech services we provide across Washington State.
“This event is quite different from any other you’ve been to,” according to board member Kyle Quinn, Senior VP and CIO of Paccar. “It’s a fun casual atmosphere that emphasizes networking and meeting people. You’re doing something for a great cause, but no one is guilting you into making a donation.”
Ticket prices and corporate sponsors help 501 Commons meet its fundraising goal. For the nonprofit partners that 501 Commons works with year-round, the evening is a unique opportunity to network with the tech industry for possible volunteers and board members. There is also a steep discount for people from nonprofits who are members of 501 Commons.
Ticket are $75 general admission, and $45 for member organizations of 501 Commons. Get your ticket today!
