Dawn protects women and children from domestic abuse, providing shelter, support and empowerment so they can build secure and happy lives.

The Food Bank @ St. Mary’s helps provide food for people who find they are unable to provide it for themselves. Some of the people who come in have temporarily hit hard times, but many are experiencing long term economic struggles. We strive to offer our services in a courteous and hospitable atmosphere.

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos. Sea Mar proudly serves all persons without regard to race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, or sexual orientation, and regardless of ability to pay for services.

Educurious is a catalyst to reimagine learning. Their mission is to empower and motivate young people to achieve academic, career and personal success through transformative learning experiences.

Encompass NW Early Learning Center partners with families to build healthy foundations for children through comprehensive education and enrichment programs for students of all ages.

Keiro NW operates seven high-quality programs to serve the many needs of older adults and their families.

Southwest Youth and Family Services inspires change in youth and families through culturally relevant counseling, education, and family support services.

One America logoOne America's mission is to advance the fundamental principles of democracy and justice through building power in immigrant communities, in collaboration with key allies.

Summer 2016

WestSide Baby is the only social service agency in the West King County area that collects, inspects and distributes free diapers, clothing, cribs and safety gear for babies and children.

 

Techbridge inspires girls to discover a passion for technology, science and engineering. Through hands-on learning, they empower the next generation of innovators and leaders.

North Helpline believes that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect.  They assist their neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth.


Youth Eastside Services is a lifeline for kids and families coping with challenges such as emotional distress, substance abuse and violence. Through intervention, outreach and prevention, YES builds confidence and responsibility, strengthens family relationships, and advocates for a safer community that cares for its youth.

Vashon Community Care enriches the individual's experience of aging on Vashon through creative, collaborative, caring, community-wide services.

Bike Works vision is to create a just world where young people are empowered and engaged in communities that foster understanding and participation and encourage the health of people and our planet.

The mission of the Tenants Union (TU) is to create housing justice through empowerment-based education, outreach, leadership development, organizing, and advocacy.


Easter Seals Washington
provides exceptional services to ensure that people with disabilities and families in need have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play.

 

Friendship Circle logoThe Mission of the Friendship Circle is to bridge the gap between special needs and typical youth through shared experience, empower special needs youth with the skills they need to live a productive and independent adult life, give parents and families much-needed respite, and nurture a sense of awareness and communal responsibility in our teens.


As an alternative to living on the street, Plymouth Healing Community provides companionship and deep respect in a small, referral-based, neighborhood-scale shelter, to homeless patients released from Harborview's inpatient psychiatric units and outpatient mental health clinic following an acute episode of mental illness.

Lambert House a center for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth that empowers youth through the development of leadership, social and life skills.

 

Lutheran Community Services Northwestserving communities throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho by providing a wide variety of services to adults, adolescents, children, families, schools, businesses, congregations, neighborhoods and communities.

Senior Housing Assistance Groupconnecting seniors living in affordable housing to the resources that support their independence.

 

Skate Journeys to inspire learning and empowering skaters on quads and inlines.

 

St. Stephen Housing Association to address the needs of homeless families with children by providing housing with support services to encourage families to become self-sufficient.

 

Transitional Resourcesbuilding better health, stable housing, and a community of support for people living with mental illness.

Urban Family – to create opportunities that empower urban youth and their families to develop their full potential and help reshape the social environment of their community.
