About Cloudbreak Collective

Cloudbreak Collective delivers clear, calm, action-oriented fundraising services for nonprofits of all sizes, missions, and locations. We are a team of fundraisers, writers, consultants, and researchers that specialize in increasing the revenue our clients raise through:

*GRANTS AND SPONSORSHIPS: We will find the prospects, decide if they are right for you, and build a workplan to walk you step by step through the process of building relationships and accessing new opportunities. For those who are interested, we offer full grantwriting services, including content gathering, drafting, editing, and submissions. We also provide strategic coaching along the way on all aspects of grantseeking.

*FUNDRAISING PLANS AND APPEALS: Cloudbreak partners with clients to build cohesive strategies for donor-facing appeals and reports throughout the year, calendar out activities, and then lead the writing and distribution for each item throughout the year. We will write compelling and effective donor-facing content for a range of settings including: holiday appeals, sponsorship appeals, annual appeals, online giving events, special one-time solicitations, newsletters, annual reports, and more.

*SPECIAL CAMPAIGNS: For organizations entering a period of intense fundraising around a specific, long-term goal–such as building a new facility, creating an endowment, or launching something new– Cloudbreak provides support to determine how much money you can raise to fuel that project, how to strategically build your capacity to raise those funds, and how to track and manage through the complexity of multi-year fundraising campaigns.

*MAJOR DONOR RELATIONSHIPS: Whether a “major” donation for your organization is $100 or $10,000, we can help you build systems and skills required to cultivate stronger relationships with those closest to your organization. We help you identify your current and potential major donors, build the infrastructure needed to increase donations, and gain comfort and familiarity with how to ask for funds.

Cloudbreak is based in the Pacific Northwest. In this gray area of the country, moments when the sun shines through the clouds often feel like a collective deep breath. A new perspective. A lifting of the real and figurative fog. We aim to achieve this moment of cloudbreak with our clients, working alongside you to untangle fundraising, clarify your goals, and find simple paths forward.
