Nonprofit architecture firm Environmental Works provides complete architectural and planning services to Washington State nonprofits using community design, which engages facility users in the design process. We collaborate with nonprofits and their constituents to create spaces that are environmentally sensitive, socially responsible, and ideally suited to the users' culture and needs.

About Environmental Works Community Design Center
Founded in 1970, Environmental Works is a non-profit Community Design Center dedicated to providing architectural services to under-served populations.
The firm works throughout Washington State, handling projects such as:
• Multi-family housing
• Mixed use design facilities
• Child care centers
• Health clinics
• Community centers
• Food banks
Our professional architectural, planning, and consulting services focus on improving physical, social, and economic environments through sustainable practices. Our staff of fifteen includes five licensed architects and six LEED Accredited Professionals.
Environmental Works' services include:
• Existing condition surveys/capital needs assessments
• Evaluation of physical and organizational needs
• Site/zoning analysis
• Complete architectural services
• Programming
• Budgeting and scheduling
• Environmentally sensitive design (LEED and other)
• Socially responsible design (SEED)
