About Greg Scully

I have a diverse background of 25 years’ experience in nonprofit, public agency, and for-profit leadership roles. My cross-sector expertise provides clients with insights that result in a long-term return on investment. For nonprofits, I focus on business and strategic planning, strengthening governing boards, and facilitating meetings and retreats.

Before 2006 when I began advising nonprofits and international nongovernmental organizations, I directed sales teams at Group Health Cooperative (now Kaiser Permanente). Prior work included serving as Chief Deputy at the Office of the Washington State Insurance Commissioner. While directing this state agency’s 180 employees, I refined the organization and transformed its performance. My policy work centered on developing and implementing consumer-centric laws and rules to reduce barriers to health insurance coverage.

My style is participatory, and client focused. I thrive when engaged in projects that are challenging, complex, and centered on relationships.

I received an Executive Masters in Nonprofit Leadership degree from Seattle University. My 25+ years of nonprofit community service includes board leadership roles with YouthCare, Senior Services, and Tiny Trees Preschool, leading capital campaigns and serving as board President. I have consulted with nonprofits and NGO’s locally and around the world.
