501 Commons serves more than 1000 organizations a year and offers 30+ programs and services including technology and management consulting; coaching; training for staff and board leaders, ongoing human resources, tech support and financial services, and much more.

• MANAGEMENT CONSULTING includes: strategic, emergency, and operational planning, program and social enterprise development, marketing and communications, and board development. Several programs increase organizational capacity through a team-based planning process. We also help organizations and boards become better advocates for their mission.

• TECHNOLOGY SERVICES include: Technology planning, collaboration, and knowledge management, IT Infrastructure, data analysis, database selection, development, and administration.

• HUMAN RESOURCES includes: on-going HR Partner Services, consulting projects such as staff handbooks and personnel policies, staff climate survey, succession planning, and staff and leader development.

• FINANCIAL SERVICES include: ongoing bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting services, HR Quick Consults, 990 preparation, and finance training for boards.

We create innovative low-cost programs, raise $1+ million from foundations, government, businesses, and individuals, and partner with professionals who contribute $1.5 million worth of consulting and technology expertise in order to bring services within reach of organizations of all sizes.
