About Whatcom Community Foundation

The Whatcom Community Foundation provides grants, technical assistance, training, and other capacity building activities for local nonprofits, in part through the Whatcom Council of Nonprofits (WCN).

WCN is one of the Foundation's programs that is designed to build relationships, share resources, and communicate the vital roles of nonprofit organizations in Whatcom County.

WCN's vision for the future is that all Whatcom County nonprofits will be healthy and vibrant organizations. They will work collaboratively to increase their capacity to improve the quality of life in Whatcom County. Nonprofits will be recognized as vital partners with government and business to create and sustain economic prosperity, community health and civic engagement.
