Volunteers play a role in healing our communities. As our country deals with COVID-19, shutdowns, the economic downturn, and racial injustice, people are feeling energized to give back to their communities in any way they can.
Is your organization ready to engage volunteers in this changing landscape? Get assistance with Volunteer Navigator to get guidance on areas to adapt and assistance to carry out the volunteer strategies that you haven’t had the time to prioritize.
The Volunteer Navigator program is designed to improve the effectiveness of your volunteer program by assessing its strengths and weaknesses, identifying foundational issues, and ultimately helping your organization realize tangible improvements. Your volunteer manager will receive coaching on the best practices of volunteer engagement while we work with you hand-in-hand to develop the tools and processes necessary for success.
How it works:
Over the course of six months, your organization will receive up to 40 hours of expert coaching and guidance in support of your volunteer program.
- 501 Commons’ Volunteer Initiatives Manager will assess your volunteer engagement practices according to industry standards and provide you with personalized recommendations to help you achieve your goals.
- Your organization’s volunteer leadership team then defines the improvements you would like to see.
- The Volunteer Initiatives Manager will spend the remaining time helping your organization develop and implement the tools, processes, and values necessary to fully harness the time and talents of volunteers.
